Speakers for Hope

Speakers for Hope is an outreach, education and support program. Speakers for Hope is part of the Gavin Foundation with the vision of providing innovative programming, individual support, rehabilitation services and ongoing encouragement to individuals who’ve been affected by alcoholism and addiction. This organization prepares motivational speakers to field questions and concerns raised by their audience to educate teens and preteens on the effects of alcohol & drug use & abuse. Speakers for Hope use public figures and young adults who have been affected by alcohol & drug use who have turned their lives around.

The speakers will talk about overcoming adversity, and invite their audiences to share their experiences. Sessions will be interactive with speaker presentation talking 30 minutes followed by a lively Q&A. The Program offers sessions on Refusal Skills, Goal Setting and Support Systems with sessions at schools, community organizations and religious groups.
